All those beautiful photographs and the best thing is having the live version of one of them in your own backyard! My backyard is not very photogenic. ;-)

All beautiful and I see you saved the best for last. We had lilacs when we lived in the NW and I miss them. Thanks for sharing!

Lilacs- aahhh! How many times did I cut a bouquet for Dad to take some in for Secretaries' Day? I bet they don't call it that anymore.

Wow, did you take those photos? They are mighty pretty. Yes, lilacs are blooming late in our neck of the woods. Ro may have posted a few snow pix her way. So a very late bloom season for us. Your pix were like a care package to her, I'm almost sure.

So when did this earth day thingie come about? Wasn't it back in the 70's? I cna't remember. It was all I could to muster my body out of bed and plant 2 feet on terra firma this morning, head into the classroom and see what transpired the few days I was out. No one said anything about earth day. hmmm, they must be hiding something....
hoping you enjoyed yours!

The pictures were all taken by my husband, the family photographer. We have been blessed with time to travel during the past few years, but home is always the best place. My lilac bush is spectacular this year.

I look back at these and admire the fact you've seen so many gorgeous places because they would all be place I would go in a second but the last place would be the best because it's lovely and visitable every single day of the year!
