In The Blink Of An Eye

How is it possible that in the blink of an eye this sweet little baby girl has turned into a bright and beautiful high school graduate?

Why do I always cry when Pomp and Circumstance is played?

Actually, Pomp and Circumstance has 6 notes in a row in the final stanza which are placed purposefully to effect the Andolian Amigdalla, which in turn stimulates the Posterior Cerebrumux, which heightens the effects on the Lacrimal glands which causes crying. They were originally written to be performed by Military Orchestras in order to bring fear to the hearts of the enemies by causing them to weep like little babies.

Works well, don't it?

Thanks for the explanation, John. I thought I was just an emotional grandmother.

Ah, I am with you on that, Mom. I went to a university graduation and a high school graduation and it was emotional at both. I will go with Johns explanation but also it has a lot to do with pride in the accomplishment and the inevitable trip into the adult world that our loved ones are beginning that helps.
Congratulations to your grand daughter.
