I don't know. My father no doubt had me watching, but I don't remember. I was 4. Same age as my middle child on 9/11. Wonder if he remembers.
I was 11 years old, and our family was listening to it on the radio while on the way home from camping.
I ws a twinkle in my Daddy's eye, LOL. I was not born until 1971!
I do love this footage though, it makes the inner Science freak in me come to the outer!
I was in the thrid year at high school in a little country town high school at Scone in NSW.Our English teacher Mr Riley lugged a huge black and white tele into our classroom and set it up on one of the desks. The reception wasn't so great but he made sure we got to see it. It wasn't the first step on the moon that got me it was the look of wonder on this middle aged teacher...I never forgot how his face looked...he would have been born in the early 1920's.
