This time of year is so full of memories of times gone by that on many days I tend to get very nostalgic. Recently I came upon this letter to Santa written by my children in 1975. I cherish the memories of my house full of children.
What a lovely photo and this time of the year is really hard here in my empty house - I keep coming across things like that letter - or old photos etc and am amazed at how quiet my once noisy house has become. I have the radio on a lot
I don't remember writing it. I was ten at the time, so a likely candidate. But since David's the only one with a specific request, I'm suspecting him as the author. We weren't very original in the pet name department, were we?

That is so cute! :) Am I mistaken, or did they remind Santa to throw his trash away? *hee hee*
I love how they teamed together on the note and the selflessness of asking for only one special gift for David (oh, and some *girble food)

Ho ho, that's funny! What a great piece of the past.
